Manager - Rewards & Performance

JOB ROLE 

The Manager - Rewards & Performance is responsible for the development and execution of performance management philosophies and strategies, frameworks, and policies to drive optimal organizational behavior in context to Riyadh Air’s Total Rewards philosophy. You will monitor competitive trends in compensation and benefits and evaluate alternatives as well as costs. You will also develop and recommend benefits programs, salary policy lines, administrative procedures, incentives, bonuses, stock options, and other special payment plans for specific segments of Riyadh Air’s population.

You will manage the annual performance management process which includes goal setting through to goal evaluation and alignment to compensation outcomes as well as manage internal pay structures, review job families and ensuring market competitiveness through surveys and benchmarking activities.

GENERAL ACTIVITIES

  • Develop and manage the delivery of the employee performance management framework, compensation structures and benefit programs, ensuring the needs of internal stakeholders are met and ensuring compliance with legal requirements.
  • Design and manage the implementation of complex, business-critical employee incentive programs; identify and respond to the needs of internal stakeholders; clarify the financial, business performance, and behavioural parameters that are to be met; ensure compliance with external regulatory and legal requirements.
  • Develop and manage the delivery of annual and long-term executive compensation programs, providing effective support to the remuneration committee and ensuring that all regulatory and legal requirements are met.
  • Design and manage the annual review; specify and communicate the review objectives, process, timing, criteria, and financial parameters; monitor and report on outcomes, initiating remedial actions where appropriate.
  • Specify, develop, and test HR data collection procedures and tools within an area of HR practice to meet defined key principles and ensure compliance with external requirements.
  • Lead the development and implementation of strategy for a significant area of responsibility, anticipating complex issues, challenges, and opportunities, and ensuring integration with wider corporate strategy.
  • Lead the development of partnering relationships with senior executives throughout the organization, building high levels of professional credibility and mutual trust, and ensuring that internal clients have access to high-quality advice and guidance to support in delivering business strategy and plans.
  • Identify and manage stakeholders up to top management level, finding out their needs/issues/concerns and reacting to these by leading and coordinating the development of stakeholder engagement plans to support the communication of business information and decisions.
  • Lead the development of policies, procedures, and related guidelines for a significant area of responsibility, ensuring compliance with external requirements and integration with the broader corporate policy framework.
  • Provide specialist advice to the leadership team to guide the implementation of policies, frameworks and guidelines and the design and implementation of projects and change initiatives.
  • Manage and report on the performance of the function / business area; set appropriate performance objectives for direct reports and hold them accountable for achieving these; take appropriate corrective action where necessary to ensure the achievement of annual business objectives.

PROFILE REQUIREMENTS 

Professional Experience

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience with at least 5 in a comparable role within HR.

Academic Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree in HR/ Business Administration or any other related field.
  • A Masters Degree or HR Qualification such as a CPID is desirable.

  • Strong experience developing and delivering multi-mode communications that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences.
  • Demonstrable experience consistently achieving results, even under tough circumstances.
  • Must have strong skills with MS Office products including Excel, PowerPoint and Word. Power BI is desirable.
  • Knowledge of airlines or travel and transportation industries would also be desirable.
