Senior Manager - Recruitment

JOB ROLE 

The Senior Manager - Recruitment will lead a team of recruiters who will attract, assess and select the right talent with the right skillset and experience at executive and corporate levels to meet Riyadh Air’s business requirements. The Senior Manager - Recruitment will focus on training, developing recruiters that deliver at scale, onboarding and calibration thought leadership, and partnering with multiple internal stakeholder teams. In this role, you will drive talent identification and attraction strategies, and will be responsible for setting effective benchmarks and metrics expectations.

Other responsibilities include full management of recruitment agencies and executive search firms and ensuring compliance with employment legislation and corporate policies and helping Riyadh Air to secure talent in a timely, efficient and cost-effective manner while promoting diverse and inclusive hiring practices.

GENERAL ACTIVITIES

  • Develop and implement programs to recruit and select the talent to meet Riyadh Air’s business needs. Work with the business to understanding hiring and development needs, and oversees the sourcing, assessment, selection, on-boarding and development of employees.
  • Lead the creation of multichannel future talent recruitment campaigns to attract large numbers of high-quality candidates; clarify the campaign's objectives; propose and obtain agreement on a financial budget; identify and appoint the campaign team.
  • Develop key strategic insights based on external and internal information sources and develop and analyse complex resourcing scenarios to enable the development of the strategic workforce hiring plan.
  • Manage the day-to-day relationship with external recruitment providers; clarify and communicate business needs.
  • Identify and manage stakeholders up to top management level, finding out their needs/issues/concerns and reacting to these by leading and coordinating the development of stakeholder engagement plans to support the communication of business information and decisions.
  • Lead the development of policies, procedures, and related recruitment guidelines, ensuring compliance with external requirements and integration with the broader corporate policy framework.
  • Communicate the recruitment strategy and its relationship to Riyadh Air’s mission, vision, and values.
  • Manage and report on the performance of the team; set appropriate performance objectives for direct reports and hold them accountable for achieving these; take appropriate corrective action where necessary to ensure the achievement of annual business objectives.

PROFILE REQUIREMENTS 

Professional Experience

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience with at least 5 in a comparable role within recruitment, leading high performing teams.
  • Experiencing is setting recruitment strategies with a focus on candidate experience, diversity and quality.

Academic Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree in HR/ Business Administration or any other related field.
  • A Masters Degree or HR Qualification such as a CIPD is desirable.

Competency Requirements

  • A strong commitment to identifying all relevant issues and making decisions that maximize outcomes for all key stakeholders.
  • Able to engage effectively with multiple stakeholders and responds with well-balanced, win-win solutions.
  • Strong experience within recruitment, ideally within airlines or the travel and transportation industries.
  • Strong experience developing and delivering multi-mode communications that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences.
  • Demonstrable experience consistently achieving results, even under tough circumstances.
  • High level of professionalism and work ethics.
  • Adaptability and desire to work in an evolving/start-up environment where policies and processes are being created.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • The ability to work independently and effectively within a team, be flexible and collaborative.
