HRIS Manager

JOB PURPOSE:

HRIS plays a pivotal role in overseeing the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of the Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) within the organization. This position is responsible for ensuring the efficient functioning of HRIS platforms to support various HR functions, including but not limited to, Recruitment, Onboarding, employee data management, payroll, benefits administration, performance/talent management, and reporting. The primary purpose of this role is to streamline HR processes, enhance data accuracy, and leverage technology to support strategic HR initiatives and organizational goals.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Oversee the implementation, configuration, and maintenance of HRIS platforms, ensuring data integrity, security, and compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Continuously assess HRIS functionalities and identify opportunities to optimize processes, enhance user experience, and increase automation to streamline HR operations.
  • Coordinate with IT and other relevant departments to integrate HRIS with other business systems (e.g., payroll, time and attendance) and maintain interfaces for seamless data flow.
  • Provide training and technical support to HR staff and end-users on HRIS functionalities, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring effective utilization of system capabilities.
  • Identify inefficiencies in HR processes and workflows, propose and implement solutions leveraging HRIS capabilities to drive process improvements and enhance operational efficiency.
  • Stay updated on new features, functionalities, and best practices of Oracle and iCIMS to optimize system performance and efficiency.
  • Develop and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) for system maintenance tasks, upgrades, and patches.
  • Analytical capabilities to leverage HR data effectively, drive informed decision-making, and support the organization's strategic objectives.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:

  • Proven experience (5+ years) in HRIS management, preferably Oracle, iCIMS, Aviation Technologies

ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Master’s degree in human resources /information systems
  • In-depth knowledge of HRIS platforms (e.g.; Oracle HCM, iCIMS, Tableau, Power Bi) and related technologies.

SKILLS:

  • Strong understanding of HR processes, data management principles, and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, generate insights, and make data-driven recommendations.
  • Project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously and drive projects to completion within deadlines.
  • Negotiation skills

CERTIFICATIONS:

  • Certification in Oracle Fusion HCM (multiple modules – Core HR, Talent Management, Recruitment, Workforce Management, Payroll, Reports and Analytics)
  • Certification in Icims
  • Certification in Power Bi, Tableau
