Brand Manager

Riyadh Air, headquartered in the Saudi Capital, is the new national airline that’s shaping the future of flying. It seeks to lead the aviation industry by transforming Saudi Arabia into a global aviation and trade hub – a new, digitally native airline, connecting the kingdom to more than 100 destinations.

JOB PURPOSE:

Responsible for contributing to the management of the Riyadh Air brand across the Riyadh Air Group. Works with the external agencies and broader marketing team to achieve the company objectives and deliver high quality marketing campaigns.

The role covers marketing activities across the Riyadh Air business. It is responsible for developing integrated branding programs across all consumer touchpoints and channels as well as ensuring the brand communications strategy is delivered.  It is an important role for maintaining and growing the brand, ensuring timely delivery of brand campaigns and assets.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Strategic

  • Take the brand lead for specific new product launches to ensure that the campaigns generate increased awareness and affinity for the RX brand
  • Continue to position Riyadh Air as a premium, world leading international airline through the development of premium brand marketing programs.
  • Ensure creative production processes achieve consistency of key messaging, visual identity, high quality productions and speed to market.
  • Work with internal departments and subsidiaries to consult and help achieve their marketing objectives

Operational

  • Develop integrated brand campaigns ensuring consistency of messaging and imagery in all key communication channels while they adhere to brand guidelines
  • Ensure brand campaigns are launched on time within approved budget.
  • Effective deployment of corporate brand materials to our media partners and future regional marketing teams.
  • Review all pre-production samples and artwork prior to final production to ensure quality and meet brand standards and guidelines
  • Collaborate with both marketing leadership team and external agencies to ensure best possible solutions for our internal clients.
  • Ensure language translations for advertising copy are accurate and approved.

Management

  • Establish the team's objectives and priorities to align with and support business objectives.
  • Provide consultation to internal departments for their marketing needs
  • Regularly evaluate the team’s objectives, plans, procedures and practices and make appropriate changes if needed.
  • Oversee and supervise employees. Direct daily activities, recruit, train, develop and discipline to ensure a high standard of service delivery.
  • Ensure effective communication and stakeholder management

Budgeting

  • Participate in the annual budgeting process by ensuring marketing plans and PO's are submitted on a timely basis within project timelines.
  • Directly manage budgets for new brand marketing projects, creative development processes and tools and large strategic projects.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:

Essential:

  • Project/account management - minimum 6 years of job-related experience required,
  • with Middle Eastern experience with marketing or international experience gained working with a multi-cultural work environment, working in cross-functional teams

Preferred

  • Marketing experience in the airline, travel or hospitality industry or experience working in a client service role within a creative agency.

ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Marketing, Business Studies, or Communications
