Senior Bilingual Editor/Copywriter

It seeks to lead the aviation industry by transforming Saudi Arabia into a global aviation and trade hub – a new, digitally native airline, connecting the kingdom to more than 100 destinations.

JOB PURPOSE:

To play a pivotal role in conceptualizing and crafting compelling written content tailored to Gloabl and Arabic-speaking audiences. They will be responsible for developing engaging copy that effectively communicates our brand messages, enhances our brand identity, and drives desired outcomes. They should have a deep understanding of the English and Arabic language, culture, and global and local market trends to ensure the content resonates with the intended audience.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Collaborate with internal teams to understand project objectives, target audience demographics.
  • Create compelling, engaging, and persuasive content in English and Arabic for various marketing and advertising materials including but not limited to advertisements, social media content, website copy, press releases, and email campaigns.
  • Ensure all content is grammatically correct, stylistically consistent, and aligned with brand voice and tone.
  • Conduct thorough research to stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and cultural developments relevant to our company’s markets.
  • Adapt content for different platforms and channels, optimizing messaging for maximum impact and engagement.
  • Review and provide constructive feedback on copy developed by junior team members, fostering their growth and development.
  • Participate in leadership meetings and presentations, articulating creative concepts and rationale effectively.
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies and innovations in the field of copywriting and content marketing, continuously enhancing skill set and knowledge base.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:

  • Atleast 8 years proven experience working as a copywriter in a reputed firm, with a focus on crafting content in English and Arabic.
  • Exceptional command of the Arabic language, with a deep understanding of grammar, syntax, and idiomatic expressions.
  • Exceptional command of the English language, with a deep understanding of grammar, syntax, and idiomatic expressions.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing diverse writing samples across different formats and industries.

ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Linguistics, Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.

SKILLS:

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a passion for storytelling and brand building.
  • Proficiency in English and Arabic Languages is required.
