Senior Manager Paid Media & Campaigns

JOB PURPOSE:

As the Senior Manager Paid Media and Campaigns, you will be responsible for developing and executing effective paid media strategies and campaigns to drive brand visibility, engagement, loyalty and sales. This role requires a deep understanding and strong background in paid media management, campaign development, and cross-functional collaboration. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of driving results through paid channels and creating cohesive campaigns that align with overall business objectives.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Reporting to the Digital Marketing Director, the Senior Manager Paid Media & Campaigns will have the following responsibilities:

Campaign Management:

  • Oversee end-to-end management of paid media campaigns, including planning, execution, optimization, and measurement of success.
  • Deliver against Riyadh Air’s comprehensive campaign calendar across brand & awareness, engagement, acquisition & conversion campaigns to drive sales.
  • Collaborate with relevant departments and stakeholders across Riyadh Air (Product, Commercial, Loyalty, Marketing, PR/Comms, Guest Experience, Brand etc.) to scope, design and deliver media buys for omnichannel campaigns, and drive business outcome.
  • Design and execute paid media activities across social, maintain an AON engagement framework and drive traffic to Riyadh Air’s properties.
  • Execute tactical as well as AON performance campaigns, not limited to SEM, Display.
  • Strategize and deliver campaigns across affiliates and metas.
  • Maximise GMP and native platforms for seamless campaign delivery and performance.

Paid Media Strategy & Execution:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive paid media strategy for RX, aligned with business strategy and delivering against key objectives across key source markets.
  • Negotiate optimum and cost-efficient media buys and favorable rates, as well as added value buys.
  • Identify and evaluate new opportunities for paid media channels to enhance overall marketing efforts.
  • Ideate and execute paid media, publisher, and content partnerships to further drive exposure across key source markets.
  • Support development of data, audience and targeting strategy to deliver end-to-end personalization and maximum ROI.

Testing and Optimization:

  • Implement comprehensive A/B testing frameworks to improve and optimize campaign performance and targeting.
  • Maximize GMP and its products for efficient, effective, and real-time campaign execution and optimization (not limited to DCO).

Budget Management:

  • Develop and manage budgets for paid media campaigns, ensuring efficient allocation of resources, and reallocation towards best-performing channel mix.
  • Monitor spending, analyze ROI, and make data-driven adjustments to optimize performance.

Analytics and Reporting:

  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and regularly analyze campaign performance.
  • Provide actionable insights based on data, demonstrating the impact of paid media efforts on business objectives.

Agency and Partner Management:

  • Manage relationships with the media agency, publishers, platform owners and partners to ensure seamless campaign execution and high-quality deliverables.

Performance Analytics:

  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for media and partnership initiatives.
  • Analyze data and continuously monitor successful delivery against KPIs.
  • Work with the in-house BI team and the agency to uncover insights and develop actionable recommendations for optimization and max. ROI and ROAS.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with relevant departments and stakeholders across Riyadh Air (Product, Commercial, Loyalty, Marketing, PR/Comms, Guest Experience, etc.) to ensure requirements are scoped and are delivered successfully against common goals.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:

  • Atleast 10 years of experience in media and campaign management or similar role; experience in travel & tourism is preferred

ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum of bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business administration or related field
